Our article, “Associations of Facial Shape With Physical Strength and 2D:4D in a Turkish Male and Female Sample,” published in the American Journal of Human Biology, was recognized by Wiley as one of the journal’s top 10% most-viewed papers published in 2024.
The study examines links between facial shape, physical strength, and prenatal testosterone exposure (via 2D:4D). Using geometric morphometric morphs, we visualized facial shape changes associated with handgrip strength, 2D:4D, and sexual dimorphism, allowing these trait-related patterns to be compared directly and intuitively.
